Leaders in Accessibility: Sujit K. Reddy

Published by Grace Gong, Grade 12 Erindale Student

I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Sujit K. Reddy, during my time as a student entrepreneur at the OCE (Ontario Centres of Excellence) Make Your Pitch Competition. He is a very kind and motivated individual who hopes to helps others with the power of education and motivational speaking. He lead a workshop about Marketing, and The Importance of using Social Media, as well as the site, linkedin, for networking and meeting new people. His words were very useful, and helped me in my journey to optimizing my own usage of social media.

Sujit is not just an amazing speaker and facilitator, but an advocate for accessibility in the workplace and community. He is a TedX Speaker, Thought Leader, Break Through Facilitator, Recruitment Specialist and Accessibility Champion. He is such an inspiring figure, as he is not only a volunteer in his community, but also an initiator for change.

He is involved in a number of initiatives to support those who are just beginning to realize their potential in entrepreneurship, the workplace, and those who are just beginning to explore their options. He helps others to realize their dreams, and encourages people along the way, while always working with a positive attitude.

He was kind enough to answer our questions on the theme of Accessibility, as well as the initiatives and action that we as individuals can take to bridge the gap, not only int he community and workplace, but in our lives. No barrier is too big for us, and regardless of whether it is a physical or mental barrier, his involvement in these initiatives shows that when you put your mind to something, there is no limit to what you can do. Regardless of whether you are an individual or someone who is just beginning to explore the options for careers and opportunities to pursue your passions, his work in the community shows that there is no limit.
