Best Buddies Valentine’s Card Workshop

For Valentine’s Day, our Best Buddies chapter hosted a hands-on card-making workshop that brought students and Buddies together to create personalized cards for friends, family, and staff. Best Buddies builds one-to-one friendships and inclusive school communities—and this event was a simple, joyful way to connect through creativity.

What We Made

  • Set up stations with cardstock, stickers, stamps, markers, and washi tape for custom designs.
  • Offered simple templates and visual examples for anyone who wanted a starting point.
  • Kept the space welcoming with music, snacks, and a quiet table for sensory-friendly creating.

The best part? Seeing pairs collaborate—choosing colours, writing thoughtful messages, and celebrating each other’s finished cards.
