Coffeehouse Arts & Music Event

Coffeehouse: Arts & Music Night Recap

Our school Coffeehouse brought the community together for an evening of music, dance, spoken word, and visual arts. We packed the room, cheered loudly, and—best of all—fundraised for a local nonprofit making a difference in our community.

What We Did

  • Student-led showcase: solos, duets, bands, dance, and spoken word, plus a mini gallery of student art.
  • Community impact: proceeds from tickets and donations went to a local nonprofit (thank you to everyone who contributed!).
  • Run by students: the Art Council and Student Council handled promos, tech, staging, and hosting.

Huge shoutout to every performer who put themselves out there—your courage and hours of practice made the night special.

Highlights From the Night

  • Standing-room energy: friends, families, and staff created an incredibly supportive atmosphere.
  • Variety: we moved from acoustic covers to original pieces, group choreography, and a surprise open-mic finale.
  • Giving back: intermission donations and concessions boosted our fundraiser beyond expectations.

Why It Matters

Coffeehouse is more than a show—it’s a space where students build confidence, try new things, and connect across grades. Bringing people together through the arts and supporting a cause turns creativity into community impact.

Want to Perform or Help Next Time?

  • Performers: watch for audition sign-ups (all levels welcome—covers, originals, dance, poetry).
  • Crew: we need volunteers for sound, lights, stage management, photography, and front-of-house.
  • Community partners: local nonprofits and sponsors—reach out if you’d like to collaborate.
