Introducing Hats For Hospitals! Our newest initiative that is working with other community groups that are working to support our health care workers and community during this time.
Hats for Hospitals is about engaging our community to contribute in anyway they can- we hope to repurpose available fabric and create useful items to support our hospitals and our #healthcareheroes. You can #doyourpart by volunteering as a fabric cutter, driver, or tailor (if you have a sewing machine and have some basic knowledge of how to sew or know someone who does!) Mississauga is our target location, however it is possible for you to start a similar initiative on your community of your hospital is also in need of caps and your community is interested. .
We have connected with our community of crafters and sewing fanatics and we have found even more positions and volunteer opportunities across the city of Mississauga, including organizations lie Port Credit Sewing and SheCycle doing great things- if you are looking to get more info on how you can help, you can contact us!
